Navajo County Democratic Committee

The Navajo County Democrats, a 427 (political party) organization, is created under Arizona law and the Internal Revenue Code

The NCDC is the third strongest Democratic county committee in Arizona, trailing only the county committees of Phoenix (Maricopa) and Tucson (Pima) in terms of workers on the ground and funding.

The committee helped to turn out an 80,000 increase in Native voters in 2020, enabling Joe Biden to win Arizona and the presidency by 11,000 votes.

Field organizers are on the ground working hard to elect Kamala Harris.

The NCDC includes these teams:

--Northeast Arizona Native Democrats: A dedicated team of organizers who work on the Navajo Nation, Hopi Reservation, White Mountain Apache Reservation and San Carlos Apache Reservation. The team works outside the boundaries of Navajo County to cover the sovereign land of northeast Arizona.

--A nationwide team of phone bankers who call into the Native areas. Team members come from all states except North Dakota.

--A nationwide fund-raising team that helps to keep organizers in the field getting out the Native vote.

--The Little Colorado Democrats, who organize in the communities of Winslow and Holbrook.

--The White Mountain Democrats, who work in off-Reservation communities including the towns of Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside and nearby areas of Apache County.
